And even if a drill is the obvious answer in their mind, they don’t necessarily need to buy one. They could conceivably borrow one from a friend, relative, or neighbor.

Should you rent tools if you're a general contractor?

Once you are finished, the tools no longer serve a purpose except to occupy space in your garage. Hence, it is more convenient to rent them according to your needs and return them when you are done!
